8 DAYS RWANDA GORILLA TREKKING AND WILDLIFE IN UGANDA

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali-city tour
On arrival at Kigali airport, meet the driver guide who will take you for
a city tour depending on the time of arrival. Visit Gisozi Genocide memorials. Here you will know what Rwanda went through in 1994 genocide. There is a visitor center for students and others wishing to understand the events leading up to the genocide that occurred in
Rwanda in 1994. The Centre is a permanent memorial to those who fell victim to the genocide.

Dinner and overnight at Kigali Serena Hotel
Day 2: Kigali-Volcano National Park-Visit Ibyiwachu cultural Village.
In the morning, head from Kigali to Volcano national park. Its approx. 2
hours drive. You will check in at your hotel and then in the evening
spend some time with local people at Ibyiwachu Cultural village.

Dinner and Overnight at Bisate Lodge.
Day 3: Gorilla Tracking in Volcano National Park
In the morning, head for a life time experience, tracking mountain
gorillas. Briefing happens at the park headquarter, and allocation of the
gorilla family. Time spent while tracking depends on the movement of
gorillas. After finding them, spend 1 hour while enjoying them. After
descend back. Have a hot lunch at your lodge and relax.

Dinner and Overnight at Bisate Lodge.
Day 4: Volcano-Queen Elizabeth National Park Uganda.
In the morning, Transfer and cross the border to Uganda, drive to Queen
Elizabeth National Park. Known to be wildlife park in Uganda.

Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.
Day 5: Game drive -Boat Cruise
In the morning go for a game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park.
Look for early raisers in the park. Expect to see animals like Elephants,
Buffaloes, Elephants, Hyenas, warthogs, antelopes and many others. In
the evening, go for a boat cruise at Kazinga channel, Enjoy other
animals like Hippos different species of birds and others. Dinner and
Overnight at Mweya safari lodge.
Day 6: Lion Experience-Visit Katwe Salt Lake

In the morning, go for a lion experience, for this activity, you will go
with park rangers who monitors the lions. With this activity, you are sure
to see the lions since they are tracked using a radio antenna. You will be
allowed to come a bit closer to the animals and you will spend some
time with the carnivores. Return to the lodge for lunch and in the
evening, go for a visit at Katwe Salt Lake and enjoy the way locals
extract salt from the lake.

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth -lake Bunyonyi-Boat cruise
In the morning, connect from Queen Elizabeth to Lake Bunyonyi. This
is one of the deepest lakes in Uganda and the lake is known for
relaxation from long trips. On reaching, have a boat cruise on the lake
and enjoy many islands.

Day 8: Lake Bunyonyi -Entebbe airport
In the morning, head for Entebbe airport and wait for your flight back
home
